South Country Fair Association proudly presents A Grasslands Manuscript, an Old Time Radio-style variety show featuring some of southern Alberta’s most iconic musicians and entertainers rolled into one exciting live performance!

On February 12th, 8:00pm join us at the Historic Empress Theatre in Fort Macleod for a journey back to a simpler time, when radio was the place where performance, community, and commerce convened to bring live music and comedy into the living rooms of families across the continents.

This night of entertainment will showcase names such as Barney Bentall, Richard Inman, Shaela Miller & John Wort Hannam, The Kiit Blues Band, Red Hot Hayseeds, Lance Loree, Toby Malloy, and more! The evening will be hosted by Lethbridge’s own Steven Foord, with a house band composed of Ryland Moranz, Tyson Maiko, Kyle Harmon, and Skinny Dyck.

Don’t miss the opportunity to see many incredible performances rolled into one exciting variety night! Tickets available right here by clicking ‘Purchase Tickets’ from the top menu.

Tickets $25 in Advance, $30 at the Door (+GST)
Vaccine passports will be required upon entry and masks are mandatory. No exceptions!

South Country Fair gratefully recognizes the contributions of our funders and community partners: Canadian Heritage, Macleod Gazette, and Stronghold Brewing Co, and humbly present this production on the traditional land and territory of the Niitsitapi – Kainai, Piikani and Siksika – the Blackfoot speaking people within the Treaty 7 region of Southern Alberta.
